We are looking for a talented and experienced Account Lead to manage and coordinate three work streams with one of our major clients, facilitating high-quality social media content for senior executives at a demanding multinational.


The ideal candidate will confidently communicate with C-Suite executives and global comms professionals, think creatively about content, write well, lead internal teams, and is ambitious and takes a high level of pride in their work.


You’ll be working with kindred and caring spirits, fellow Rebels passionate about how digital and business can make the world a better place. You will have the opportunity to work and learn from a diverse and international team based in three countries. We have offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Brighton and Mexico. But Covid is turning everything upside down, so we can have a chat about where you will be based. You will work remote or hybrid mode near one of our European offices in Barcelona, Brighton, or Madrid.


What would be your main responsibilities?

  • Lead and coordinate 3 work streams, and be responsible for high-quality delivery, client satisfaction and account growth
  • Daily senior client liaison via phone, email, WhatsApp and Microsoft Teams
  • Actively participate in creating and editing high-quality social media content for senior executives across platforms 
  • Maintain an overview of project quality, and push the evolution of content and community strategy and workflows
  • Look for opportunities to grow revenue
  • Coordinate the internal team of writers, community managers, insights managers, account execs, to deliver high quality outputs and provide quality control 
  • Occasional support with image selection, sourcing and composition
  • 3 to 4 days per month OOH support requirement 18:00 - 23:00 UK time, working directly with senior executives to refine and publish content, this requirement is shared throughout the team. 


What are the role requirements? 

  • Native-level English language proficiency (written and spoken), fluency in Spanish would also be huge asset but is not required
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience across client management and copywriting, ideally for social media or in PR or corporate communications
  • Demonstrable ability to lead a high-revenue account
  • Demonstrable ability to create high-quality copy, adapting to a required tone of voice
  • Experience in coordinating internal teams
  • A good team player, able to work with others remotely (either from home or from one of our open offices) and interact with different internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability and the resilience to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing requirements in the moment
  • Ambition and motivation to deliver excellent outputs
  • Experience of working with financial sector or corporate clients is a strong advantage

Salary: Starting from €32,000 / £40,000 p.a., negotiable depending on experience and location.
